It's great to see our students as "audience." Tellers told us the kids (front three rows) really made a difference in their tales. That's the energy of tellers and listeners...... it's a share thing. Some tellers say it's like surfing the audience - and our students made wonderful waves to surf - not to mention LEARNED a lot at Tellabration. In 2005, the Interfaith Story Circle of the Tri-City Area (Albany, Schenectady and Troy, NY) launched “Children at the Well: an Interfaith/Intergenerational Storytelling Venture” to involve youth in learning the art of storytelling.
